Multiple scholarships are provided by Olympic College Foundation for students planning to attend Olympic College. (ONGOING)

South Puget Sound CC- Community Foundation Scholarships

The SPSCC Foundation awarded more than $927,431 in scholarships and grants in 2022. Awards range from $500 to $3,000. All scholarships and grants are awarded contingent upon the availability of funds. Unfortunately, Running Start students are not eligible for Foundation scholarships at this time. (ONGOING)

Grays Harbor CC Foundation Scholarships

The Grays Harbor College Foundation offers two General Scholarship cycles per year to students attending GHC. The Fall Cycle awards are to be utilized in the current academic year and the Spring Cycle awards are to be utilized in the following academic year. Students who meet eligibility requirements can receive up to $5,000 in scholarship awards per academic year.(ONGOING)

Western Undergraduate Exchange

The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) is an agreement among WICHE’s 16 members, through which 160+ participating public colleges and universities provide steep nonresident tuition savings for Western students. Click here for the full list of participating WUE schools!

Through WUE, eligible students can choose from hundreds of undergraduate programs outside their home state, and pay no more than 150 percent of that institution’s resident tuition rate.

Since full nonresident college-tuition rates may exceed 300 percent of resident rates, WUE increases affordable higher-education choices for students, and minimizes the adverse impacts of student loan debt.

Washington State Opportunity Scholarship

BaS provides up to $22,500 in scholarship dollars and access to career-launching support services for high-demand STEM and health care majors

Hagan Scholarship Foundation

1. Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a Permanent Resident Card (Green Card).
2. Must attend a high school located in the United States. Can be a public, private, charter, magnet, or STEM school.

3. Must be in the high school graduating class.
4. Must have achieved a 3.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average.
5. Must enroll in an eligible four-year not-for-profit College or University the first semester following high school graduation.
6. Must maintain a four year or less graduation schedule in college, or complete the equivalent of a four year degree if in a professional program.
7. Recipients must work 240 hours from January 1, 2024 until commencement of the 2024 fall semester in college. Work can be performed at recipient discretion. Employment must be regularly scheduled work performed under supervision for compensation. Work can be full-time during the summer and/or part-time work.
8. Applicant’s Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for 2022 Federal Income Tax Purposes must not have exceeded $100,000. “Household Income” is defined as the total income received by all members of a household living under the same roof.
9. Applicants selected as Finalists must provide a copy of their FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS).
10. Must apply for Federal and State grants if eligible.
11. Must not have a felony conviction.

The intended recipient is a high-achieving goal-driven student having substantial financial need.

Robert J. Handy/WSSR Foundation/Gene Forrester Memorial Scholarship (Public Education)

The Washington State School Retirees' Association invites high school seniors to apply. These awards are given to students who plan to pursue a career in public education in one of these areas: teacher, counselor, speech therapist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, social worker or school psychologist.

Gene Forrester Memorial Scholarships - Agriculture at WSU

Two Gene Forrester Memorial Scholarships at $2000 each will be awarded to students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and who will major in Agricultural Education at Washington State University.

Washington Award for Vocational Excellence

Who is eligible to apply?

Graduating Washington high school seniors are eligible. These high school career technical education (CTE) students must have completed, or be in the process of completing, their second course in a single CTE pathway.

Community and technical college students are also eligible. These students must attend one of Washington’s 34 public community and technical colleges, and be in the process of completing at least one year of a professional-technical program.

The H. Parry Jones Scholarship is intended for a Shelton High School graduating senior who plans to attend a four year college/university and pursue a career in the STEM fields of engineering, math, or science.

The Shelton Schools Foundation Scholarship is intended for a Shelton School District graduating senior who plans to attend a community college/trade school to earn a degree in a certified vocational program.

Grapeview Community Association Scholarship

High school seniors who are graduating from an accredited high school are eligible for the Grapeview Community Association scholarship. Scholarships are available for students who will attend public and private universities or colleges and vocational, technical or trade schools in the United states that are accredited through state educational systems or by industry.

Horatio Alger Association- Undergrad Scholarship

Horatio Alger Scholarship Programs specifically assist high school students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their young lives. (for HS Juniors & Seniors)

  • Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor's degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution)
  • Demonstrate critical financial need ($65,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required)
  • Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities
  • Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
  • Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0; and
  • Be a United States citizen

1) Applicant must be accepted, or have an application pending, at an accredited institution of higher learning, public or private and including community and technical colleges;
2) must be a senior-level student at a public or private high school (or home school);
3) IF the college you are attending requires ACT/SAT scores, you must have an ACT composite score of 20 or a composite score of 1030 on the SAT. NO test scores required for 2-year schools;

Green Diamond Natural Resource Scholarship

These scholarships recognize and support individuals pursuing vocational, technical, college, community college and graduate programs in fields of study that enrich natural resources and related industries. Successful applicants demonstrate industry involvement, academic merit and participation in extra-curricular activities and receive awards up to $1,000. We give special consideration to children, grandchildren and spouses of Green Diamond employees.

Mason Health -- Health Sciences Academy Scholarship

The Mason Health Scholarship will provide funding for all tuition, books, uniforms, lab and simulation fees, and licensure application and licensure examination associated with obtaining your RN, MA, or MA-P license. The selected candidates must satisfy any enrollment requirements of your post-secondary school as well as those of the Mason Health Health Science Academy Scholarship.

To be eligible for this program applicants must:

The Student-View Scholarship is a unique opportunity for high school seniors.

It is open to all students regardless of academic achievement or financial need.

We offer scholarships to anyone living in Mason County. Our first criteria are the applicant must be studying in the medical field. Applicants may be of any age – whether just graduating from high school, still in college, starting over on a new career, or wanting to advance in your current medical position. The amount of the scholarship could range between $1000 and $5000.
